Insulation testers are used to conduct insulation tests for various types of product.
Insulation testers vary depending on the standards applicable to the products. Tests conducted in accordance with international standards include: heat conductivity and electrical conductivity tests.
As an example for insulation testers, we may mention:
INSULATION TESTER AT HOT AMBIENT DVT KAZ DC. It is used to conduct cable insulation tests in hot environment. An 220 V DC voltage is applied to the cable to test it. The water circulation device inside the tank ensures a homogeneous temperature. The temperature can be set at up to 95° C with a digital thermostat. In the event of electric leakage during test, the test stops automatically. The tank is made from stainless steel. The standard dimensions for the tank are 40x30x40 cm. Customized dimensions for tank are available. As an option, an oil bath rather than a water bath can be used for temperatures up to 200° C.
ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE TEST SET DVT EDT. It is used to conduct electrical resistance tests on footwear. The test set includes an electrical resistance test device, a conductive and insulative test tray and steel balls. Tests can be conducted with voltages of 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1000 Volt.
