Heel impact tester is used to measure the fracture energy of heels when they are exposed to impacts.

It is used to conduct tests on shoes and heels in the footwear industry.

HEEL IMPACT TESTER DVT CD OK applies an initial 5-Joule impact and increases the impact force by 1 Joule at every subsequent impact. It applies this way a total of 20 impacts. Then, the damage on the heel is observed resulting from the impacts so that one can ascertain the largest impact force in Joule to which it can resist. The tester comes with a heel-holding jaw.
